Hometown:  Raised in Tacoma, WA; transplanted 20 years ago to Santa Ana, CA

KOR Vessel:  Orchid Pink

KOR Stone:  ONE HOT MOMMA

Years With KOR:  5

Favorite Thing About KOR:  I somehow manage to get the parking spot right near the door, even though I am one of the last ones to arrive every day. You know that unwritten rule—don't park there, it's Randi's spot.

KOR Passion:  There are so many things—but I really believe that attractive design is crucial to sustainability. If you like something, you will use and re-use it repeatedly. If you don't like the looks of the product, you forget it at home or it sits in a drawer and is never used. I always remember to bring my KOR.

Iggy’s World – A Bicycle Built for Two, Almost

Bike riding. I did it as a kid for fun, but really, being raised in Tacoma, the opportunities for riding were limited by the drizzly weather. I always had a beater bike picked up from a local thrift shop -- nothing fancy, usually something out of style and completely the wrong size for me. My favorite bike was a metallic green single speed.

Iggy’s World – What Happens in Ecuador Must NOT Stay in Ecuador

In Ecuador, they have inexpensive housing, cheap food, low cost labor, and rock bottom -- yet quality -- healthcare. Oh, and did I mention they have a newly discovered "mushroom"?!

The junk that was left over from the sale--was quickly picked up with a curb alert on craigslist.

Iggy’s World – Junk in the Trunk

This last week was it. The big move for the KOR corporate offices. (Wow, it sounds so official -- corporate offices -- there are really only a handful of employees all doing several jobs!)

Iggy’s World – Do Bend Over and Pick Up the Soap

You walk in the bathroom and you see that the maid forgot to give you a new bar of nicely wrapped pure white soap. Instead you look down and -- cue the screeching music from Alfred Hitchcock's famous Psycho shower scene...

Iggy’s World – Just Throw It In The Bag

I missed seeing that big red logo on the thousands of plain Jane brown bags that were rustling out the door this Holiday season. But then it struck me: wow, that is a lot of paper, which means a lot of trees died to make those bags possible.
