After a great week at the Outdoor Retailer trade show, the KOR team decided to get in a little bit of the outdoors by taking a quick hike, and what better place to go hiking than Zion National Park in Utah.
Just a short ways off our route back home to Southern California, we pulled into the Kolob Canyons Visitor Center on the West side of the park. A quick drive up the canyon rim and we were surrounded by amazing views of the red plateaus, canyons and vegetation. After snapping some photos along the way, we stopped at the Taylor Creek trailhead, a half-mile hike along the edge of the canyon. The weather was in the 90’s, so we were happy that we brought along our KOR ONE Hydration Vessels to keep us refreshed on our short trek on the rim.
While we were walking along the path, we found a squirrel chilling under a tree. It didn’t run away, so we thought we’d see what the squirrel thought of KOR. We set down an orchid pink vessel, and the squirrel was immediately drawn to the stylish oasis in the desert. The squirrel crawled right up to the KOR and spent a minute checking it out before inadvertently knocking it over. So there it is—squirrels love KOR, too!
We got to the edge of the canyon and spent a moment resting, rehydrating, and enjoying the views of the hanging valley and distant plateaus. We hustled back to our van and continued our journey back to Southern California. We only wish we could have stayed longer to soak in more of the lush and vibrant landscape.
