Yes, that is exactly what I reply with, when asked if I want bottled or tap water, I say — NO, you lazy American waiter! Bring me tap water, its the cleanest in the world. Bottled water is bad for the environment and leaches chemicals when the bottles get hot on the truck. Oh, they stare…but people start getting it if you start saying WHY you want the tap and not the bottle. In restaurants anyway….Ok, I don’t really call the guy a lazy American, but you know, I mumble something like this to start a ripple effect of information…
