The KOR ONE is a beautiful work of design with its iconic shape and glass-like appearance. Unfortunately, it meets a sad fate when it falls to the ground and endures a crack at the hinge. Because the warranty doesn’t cover accidents, you can’t return the bottle.

As one who hates to waste, I finally found an opportunity to churn up ideas on keeping broken KOR ONE hydration vessels alive (since my pink one is going on one year strong) when the Mister revealed that his beloved sunrise orange KOR ONE had fallen out of his backpack and was no longer functional for on-the-go hydration. At the same time, I was drooling over water carafes featured in one of the blogs I read, looking for inspiration to spruce up the home. Why not keep the broken vessel as a bedside water container? It will still serve a purpose while putting water on a pedestal in all its tapered, elliptical glory. And I love that the Perfect Spout is well, perfect to pour the water from. Now we just need to find a cute cup to accompany the carafe with.
